What is Mount Baker Council?
Mount Baker Council, Scouting America is the local Scouting organization serving youth, families and volunteers in Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island and San Juan counties in Washington State. The Council provides programs and resources for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA and other Scouting programs, along with outdoor adventures, camping, leadership development, service opportunities and training for volunteers.

Take your skills to the next level. From outdoor skills, to recruiting, you’ll find something valuable at University of Scouting while you connect with fellow Scouters.
Outdoor skills are critical to the success of the Scouting program, and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills will provide leaders with the basic outdoor skills information needed to start a program right.
Enjoy a fun day at Fire Mountain, open to all Cub Scouts. Activities include: archery, BB guns, fishing, hiking, crafts, field sports, bouldering, and much more.
Any time is a great time to join Scouting. From Kindergarten through age 20 request information on the program near you.
BALOO is REQUIRED TRAINING for all Cub Scout Packs that would like to do Overnight Camping as a part of their Pack activities. At least one leader/parent of the activity must be BALOO Trained in order to take Cub Scouts camping.
