We are so excited to have you join us in Scouting! A huge part of Scouting is outdoor adventures, and we invite you to come experience summer camp with other Cub Scouts just like you!
We have two exciting summer camp opportunities in Mount Baker Council:
Cub Adventure Camp
Held at our Scouting home, Fire Mountain in Mount Vernon, this is a 4-day, 3-night adventure camp run by our summer camp staff. This year’s theme is Jurassic Mountain, and all activities will revolve around dinosaurs, including songs, skits, campfires, s’mores, camping, archery, BB target activities, swimming, boating, crafts, and hiking. Families participate together in overnight camping and programs, or you can join with other families in your Pack to share leadership (see registration info for details). This is a great opportunity to create memories with your Scout that will last a lifetime.
Cub Day Camp
These camps are held for 3-4 days at locations close to home. Activities are run by Scouting volunteers and feature a variety of outdoor adventures, including STEM projects, nature exploration, BB target activities, archery, crafts, and games. Parents participate with their Scouts for one or more of the days (see the registration page for more details). Our theme this year is Invention Convention, and programs and projects will center around creative inventions.
For Cubs joining Scouts for the first time between January 1 and June 30, 2025, you can register for Cub Adventure Camp and Day Camp as a New Cub Scout and get $50 off Day Camp, Adventure Camp, or both! *All cub scouts are invited to participate, however, only those who registered for Scouting for the first time in 2025 get this special discount.
